Bookkeeper On Wheels is providing bookkeeping, accounting and related services for area's small businesses since 1986. This was quite a historic time! Time when the personal computer started to be financially accessible to small businesses and the general public. The modern era of personal computing has begun! BOW was there at the outset. The idea was quite simple: BOW will do to the bookkeeping service what Domino's has done to the pizza - deliver a timely and much needed service to the customer's door.

BOW acquired its first computer system with a small loan from a family member: Leading Edge XT with 20MB hard disc and a lightning speed of 8Mhz, 10-inch Leading Edge amber monitor and Epson Fx 286e printer. Peachtree was the software used by BOW, it was the industry standard even in those days.

Since that historic time BOW went through several different computers keeping up with the developing technology every step of the way. BOW is still using the latest version of the old reliable Peachtree program but is now also running Quicken, Quickbooks and Timeslips to better serve its clients.
